Cooking Method:

1st step:

At first you need to presoak beans. Take two tables spoon salt and mix the salt with water (6 cups). Now rinse the beans properly. Then add the beans in the salted water. Now cover it with a towel or a plate. It will not take more than six to eight hours to soak the beans properly.

2nd step:

4th step:

Now wait until the pressure cooker reaches to its high pressure. Once the high pressure is achieved, then reduce the flame to the low to get a constant pressure.

5th step:

Do not forget to start timing the cooking time of the beans. It will take two to three minutes to cook the beans. Once the cooking is finished put away the flame.

6th step:

First allow the pressure cooker to become cold. Use the natural system to release the pressure from the pot of the pressure cooker.

7th step:

Now take the lid off of the pressure cooker. The beans are cooked perfectly. Now use a spoon or anything else to separate the beans from the bay leafs, onions, and garlic. Now the beans are ready for use.

8th step:

If you want to store the beans, then take a cup. Measure the beans by 11/2 of the cups. Now put them into a container. Make sure that there is necessary space on the top of the bean. Use the liquid to cover it. Now sealed the container and put it in a freezer.

REFRIED BEANS

Ingredients Needed:

  1. Vegetable oil: ¼ cup. You can use olive oil instead.
  2. White onion: one medium sized onion.
  3. Garlic: two cloves.
  4. Mexican oregano: one teaspoon. You can avoid this if you want.
  5. Pinto beans: one pound. Make sure that the beans are dried.
  6. Kosher salt: one to two teaspoons. Depending on your taste.

Cooking Procedure:

1st step:

Slice the onion properly.  Now wash the pinto beans properly.

2nd step:

Place the pressure cooker on a stove. Raise the flame and heat the pot of the pressure cooker. 5th step:

Once the cooking is finished, remove the lid or cover carefully. Now drains the beans from the liquid. Reserve the liquid in a pot or a cup for further use. Then put the beans back to the pot of the pressure cooker. Now add salt (one teaspoon) and the liquids (that you reserved) in the pot. Use a blender to puree the beans properly. During puree add one-fourth cup of liquid at a time. Do it until you get the perfect texture. Before serving taste the salt whether it is ok, or you need more.

  6. Orange: one. Cut it in the half.
  7. Bay leaves two.

  9. Tomato paste: one tablespoon.
  10. Minced chipotles with adobo sauce: two tablespoons.
  11. Tomatoes (can crush): one.
  12. Corn kernels: two cups.
  13. Cheddar Cheese: shredded.
  14. Lime wedges.

Cooking Procedure:

1st step:

Put the beans into a bowl. Now put cold water in the bowl so that the beans are covered with 3 inches or more water. Soak the beans for 8 hours or more. Now slice the garlic cloves, red bell papers, and red onion.

2nd step:
